Jim Bullock

Jim Bullock, currently serving as a Board Member of Marion County’s Children’s Alliance, has been involved in many unique efforts to assist the people of Marion County. He is a strong voice in the community and it is because of his efforts that the Children’s Alliance, an organization that meets the needs of children every day, was formed. Bullock was a Pastor at the Ft. King Presbyterian Church for 18 years and after recently retiring, he now works to involve local churches in meeting the needs of people, especially children, in Marion County. Bullock says some of the recent programs that the alliance has been working on includes, “extending after school programs, reducing bullying and domestic violence”. Bullock believes that the reason these and other programs have had such great success is because the people that held power in the community have stepped forward as leaders to make these projects successful.
