Congrats to UF Bateman Team

BBBS of Mid-Florida congratulates the University of Florida 2010-2011 Bateman Team, which the Public Relations Student Society of America selected as a finalist for the national Bateman Case Study Competition. UF’s team beat out about 50 other teams for a top-three position.
This February, team members Elizabeth Dow, Alex Glover, Maura Reese, Ruth Michel and Seeta Rebbapragada, under the direction of faculty advisor Deanna Pelfrey, launched the SCORE! campaign, reaching high school students, college students and the community with resources to help them manage their money.
UF last won the competition in 2001. This May, the team will take an all-expense-paid trip to New York City and present its campaign to a panel of judges. Their competition is Loyola University of New Orleans and Elon University of North Carolina.
