Nationwide Insurance is excited to announce it’s annual “Littlepalooza” event benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Florida, THIS SATURDAY! This field day event will provide a variety of fun activities for the children in our program. We invite the community to celebrate this fun event, on Saturday May 7th, from 10am to 2pm at Nationwide Insurance, 3300 SW Williston Rd Gainesville, Florida. The employees of Nationwide will be engaging the children in basketball, face painting, arts and crafts, a bounce house, and more. Pizza will be provided by Gator Dominoes.
May’s Match Spotlight: Meagan/Aulani

Growth is sprouting naturally for BBBS of Mid-Florida because of the connections that are made through its programs and the people who believe in its cause. Meagan met her 8-year-old Little Aulani in September. They began meeting through the Bigs and Schools and Sites program, and Meagan kept logging more than the minimum hours required. When she learned that her Little was moving to Starke, Meagan was determined not to let it divide them. They switched to the Community-Based Mentoring program and became BBBS of Mid-Florida’s first match in Bradford County.
“It’s been amazing so far,” Meagan exclaimed. “This is something I never pass up.” Every other weekend, she picks up Aulani for 5-6 hours of meaningful fun. Last time they met, they made cupcakes and painted, jamming out to a Hannah Montana Pandora Radio station. Aulani was dancing around the room – “She’s not shy at all,”
