Maria and Michael have been a wonderful match at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Florida since June 11, 2009. That is twenty great months of Big-Little relationship! Maria describes Michael as a child full of life. She loves how she has been able to see Michael become more enthusiastic about being around her. “He is more and more loving and open and enthusiastic and cooperative with every passing week,” Maria said. They’ve done various things together, such as walking throughout campus, playing arcade games, air hockey, basketball, and other things that Michael enjoys. Michael and Maria have even gone to see the Bat houses, which is always a spectacle. “I love my match. I love Michael so much! He is my little guy. I love his whole family. This is one of the best experiences of my life.
